Brother PE-Design 11 is the company's most advanced embroidery design and digitising software, developed for experienced embroiderers and small business users who want precise creative control over every stage of a design.
Built on the success of its predecessor, PE-Design 10, this version introduces new and enhanced tools for creating unique embroidery designs, decorative stitches and quilt fill patterns. Users can design, convert, edit and scan their own embroidery patterns directly on their computer, then send finished designs straight to a compatible embroidery or sewing machine, or to selected ScanNCut models.
The software also supports converting your own photos and images into photo stitch designs, along with appliqué pattern creation. The Stitch Design Factory lets you build entirely original decorative stitches, while the Font Creator and font mapping tools give you the ability to register your own embroidery data as a usable font. With 130 built-in fonts and a font filter to help narrow down choices quickly, finding the right style for a project is straightforward.
PE-Design 11 lets you specify multiple sewing directions, optimise sewing order, and convert stitch patterns to outline patterns for further editing. Quilting has been given particular attention in this release, with new background fill and echo quilting options, improved image tracing for photo stitch and auto punch, and more advanced editing functions such as round fill stitch and flexible spiral stitch.
For businesses using Brother's higher-end machines, PE-Design 11 supports wireless design transfer to the Innov-is Luminaire XP1 and Stellaire XE1/XJ1, removing the need for USB transfers between the software and the machine. It's also fully compatible with ScanNCut, allowing FCM files to be imported directly to create embroidery designs.
